attempts to classify the Canadian artist Jon Raman and his polymorphous body of work, as have monikers like gamer, redditor, and fanboy.  All describe roles Rafman navigates, sometimes vicariously, throughout his work, moving freely between the digital and the physical, the material and fantasy, exploring memory, identity, and desire.  His work centers around the emotional, social and existential impact of technology on contemporary life. He is widely known for exhibiting found images from Google Street View in his online artwork 9-Eyes (2009-ongoing).
